New to consigning with Transitional Design?
Here is what’s next.
Once we have received your signed Selling Agreement, you will receive an email from Simple Consign with your username and password (your username is also your consignor ID). This information will give you access to your consignor account where you can view your inventory. All your items will be inventoried within 2 weeks of arriving at our facility.
From there, we decide whether an item will sell best in our resale store or on our online auction.
Store items will be priced by us – priced to sell but priced fair – and put on the sales floor. Large items such as furniture will be evaluated at 30, 60 and 90 days, marked down appropriately and if it does not sell within those 90 days it will go to auction.
If an item goes to auction, it will be photographed, a description will be written, and the auction will go live online for one week. Within one week of the auction closing, you will receive a statement of all sold items for that auction via email.
How will you get paid? We do a payout once a month for both auction and store sales via check that will be mailed to you.
