8 Fun Ways to Repurpose Furniture

Furniture repurposing and upcycling is all the rage right now. Buying vintage furniture or pieces that are a few years old is a way to create fun, exciting new items that can be easily incorporated into your current décor.  Plus, if you are on a budget, your dollar will go a lot further!  Vintage furniture is typically older than 20 years.  Antique furniture can be 100+ years old.  Some antique pieces can be highly sought-after and very pricey.  If you’re on a budget, look for newer or vintage pieces which may not be as expensive.

Repurposing vintage furniture doesn’t have to mean that you are simply reupholstering or adding some fresh paint to the old piece, though. With a little creativity, vintage or recycled furniture- or pieces and parts of the furniture- can be turned into completely new items to use throughout your home!
